The FIFA 19 season is entering its final and deciding stage and our youngster
Dylan 'DullenMIKE' Neuhausen is in the midst of it all.
Over the course of the next two weeks, the Global Series Playoffs, which determine the participants of the FIFA 19 eWorld Cup, will unfold and decide the best players around the globe.
From 5th to 7th July,
Dylan 'DullenMIKE' Neuhausen will compete in the XBox One Playoffs in Hamburg. The 64 best players will go at it for the final chance to gain some of the highly coveted points that you need to qualify for the World Cup in August. Only the best sixteen performers of the overall scoreboard are going to be able to keep their season alive until next month.
Currently, our young champ is sitting comfortably in the ninth seat and has a lead of 870 points before dropping out of the top sixteen. However, he will still need to have a solid performance in the Playoffs to ensure his qualification and build some confidence before the prestigious finish of the season.
In order to do so, he is going to have to come out of the Swiss Group Stage. The Swiss Stage either ends positively with advancing to the round of sixteen after four wins, or with elimination if a player loses four times. Only 32 competitors will make it out of the beginning of the event into the Single Elimination Playoffs.
Each match of the Swiss Stage as well as the Single Elimination Playoffs, will consist of two games and is going to be decided by the aggregate score of both of these contests. If the competitors finish the two games in an overall draw, the match will head to overtime and penalty kicks.
Since the first matchups are determined by the current world rankings,
Dylan 'DullenMIKE' Neuhausen is going to face the dutch Nick “NICK” den Hamer of FC Groningen to kick off his tournament run.
Each day, the action will start at 1:00 p.m. and finish at around 10:00 p.m. GMT.
