Just a few minutes ago the Finnish team of AndThenSome knocked out Made in Brazil in the Single Elimination Round of the Inferno Online League Final. MiBr were invited earlier and wanted their revenge on SK for Los Angels but they will not be able to get it until Montreal now.

Yesterday the first offline finals of the Inferno Online League have started with 32 teams in total attending. The attendees were split into two separate tournaments with 16 teams each and four groups as well as a Single Elimination Playoff afterwards.
SK Sweden did not have any difficulty in their Saturday matches defeating everyone in their group in the morning. Afterwards the Single Elimination Playoff was played which was also played as Bo1 except for the Grand Final.

In a final between two legends, Ma "sAviOr" Jae Yoon defeated Lee "NaDa" Yoon Yeol 2-0 to win the BlizzCon 2008 Invitational.
Once again, the fans have seen an immaculate Ma 'sAviOr' Jae Yoon. The player who was once the most feared zerg player in Korea has been in a slump for a long time. When he beat everyone at BlizzCon without dropping a map he looked like his old self again.

The World of Warcraft global finals at BlizzCon are over. Nihilum Plasma had to take on the American team of Selective Queuers and took home $75.000 and a replica of Frostmourne.
It has been a very exciting weekend as the Blizzard World of Warcraft arena tournament global finals were played at BlizzCon in Anaheim, California featuring the eight best World of Warcraft teams in the world.

SK Gaming's June"Lyn" Park has made good on a promise to his fans that he would win the BlizzCon 2008 Warcraft Championship, after beating Pedro "LucifroN7" Durán in two sets of matches.

The big news from BlizzCon yesterday was that Starcraft II would be released as three separate titles, but an interesting piece of information was let slip during a Starcraft panel.
According to several sources working from BlizzCon transcripts, during one of the development panels for Starcraft II one of the panelists made mention of Wacraft IV.
