We are happy to welcome a very special new member to the SK Gaming family today. Cologne native Timo 'Praii' Gruneisen will be the second player on our FIFA Squad and SK's new local hero.
After reviving our FIFA section in 2017 with the addition of Mirza Jahic, we now welcome the next footballer to our roster. Timo played World of Warcraft professionally before moving to FIFA, where he qualified for the FUT Regionals in Barcelona this upcoming weekend: 'Joining SK Gaming, one of the most iconic esports teams in the world, is a big step for me, but it feels like the right and obvious thing to do. We both reside in the same city and the communication was excellent from day one. I am looking forward to representing the team together with Mirza at all the FIFA events this season', says Gruneisen.
As a season ticket holder for local football club 1. FC Köln, 'Praii' clicks with SK Gaming on many levels and will be at the forefront of many amazing FIFA projects that we have planned for 2018. 'I am excited, that we found such a great fit in the fast growing FIFA community. At SK Gaming, we wanted to strengthen our footprint in FIFA again and with Timo we found the perfect player for SK. He is an ambitious player, level-headed and lives right around the corner. I am happy to have him on board', says Alexander Müller, Managing Director at SK Gaming.
The first challenge awaits at the FUT European Regionals in Barcelona, where 'Praii' will be among the top 64 contenders globally. Please stay tuned for more announcements and make sure to follow Timo on Twitter and Instagram.
Marketing Director on paper, Jens is the SK allrounder and takes care of everything around our organization. Ambitious CS:GO player on the edge of gold ranks.
