We have witnessed a Saturday full of exciting Counter-Strike: Global Offensive action live from from Valencia. The group stage has completed and the two top teams of both groups will continue down the road to the grand final. At the end of the second day in the Spanish Dreamhack event, the first finalist was set, when
Team VERYGAMES easily defeated
x6tence in two straight maps.
Group stage
The Saturday action started in the early hours of the morning, with the second group completed. As it was expected by everyone, the French troop of VeryGames managed to surpass the stage on top of the group, followed by
k1ck eSports Club in second place. The former Counter-Strike: Source stars advanced to the next round with two victories and a surprising 15-15 tie against
ASES e-Sports Club . The Poruguese squad also performed in a decent fashion, which was enough to go through to the next stage. With
Ricardo 'fox' Pacheco at the head, K1ck completed the group by scoring two vicories and a defeat, totaling six points.

VeryGames advances
It is worth noting the great performance of ASES in the clash against VeryGames, managing to tie the match in the most exciting showdown after two days of action in the Iberian arena. Despite their commendable participation, the ASES were eliminated as they ended the group in the third place.
When the destiny of the group B was known, the remaining battles of the first group started to take place. As we witnessed on Friday, only two matches were played, due to the long delays caused by problems on the computers. Saturday was the
Ninjas in Pyjamas 's day, as they defeated all their rivals with no effort and losing only eight rounds in two matches to end the group stage with a 38-round positive difference. Second place was taken by x6tence ending the round with a total of six points.
This group was not totally finished, as
bemyfRAG and
34united ended with two matches played due to lack of time. Both teams were already out of the competition as they did not scored points after their two first battles.
The semifinals
The upcoming matches for the semifinal stage were then confirmed and one of those battles was held to close the second day of CS:GO action in Valencia. VeryGames faced the only local team surviving on the competition. The French players started an early domination at de_nuke_ve to quickly get their map with a overall score of 16-4. The second and last part of the battle was played on de_inferno_se where the former CS:S players showed their focus in the game from the beginning. [PLAYER:] and company improved their teamplay even more, to close the map a 16-2, and 2-0 in the overall score.

K1ck will attempt to stop the Ninjas' winning streak
Sunday will be the time for the second semifinal. In the last battle for a pass to the grand final, we will see the Swedish Ninjas against K1ck e-Sports Club. This will be, for sure, be a match that will bring us a lot of emotions that we will revive in the continue of our coverage, so STAY TUNED!
