Natus Vincere have secured themselves their fourth win of the lower-bracket against Lemondogs . As a result of their win, they have ensured that they will place at least top three although tricky times may be ahead as they once again are forced to face WinFakt Fi. The Finnish team previously defeated the Ukrainians 2-0 in the upper-bracket, and also overcame SK Gaming in the process proving their strength in this tournament.

It didn’t take long for the Ukrainian powerhouse to swiftly take the lead in the lower bracket semi-final battle on de_dust2. With the score 6-2 in their favour, T side Na`Vi managed to take entry in the B site to plant the bomb and although zneel managed to eliminate all the remaining opponents he was unable to defuse the bomb, keeping the Ukrainians in their momentum. The round however appeared to still give Lemondogs the much needed push to keep trying after Anderson’s close attempt as the next two rounds went in their favour to bring the score 7-4 in favour of the Ukrainians. Rounds then continued to be exchanged with the final round being taken by Lemondogs to end the first half 9-6.

Second half pistol went to the Ukrainians after Lemondogs were unable to gain entry into the B site. The Swedes didn’t give up however, as they came back fighting by taking the next six rounds consecutively after having lost the pistol to give them the lead 12-10 until Na`Vi took another round. Things then started to turn bad for Lemondogs or bright for the Ukrainians whichever way you want to look at it as Na’Vi once again got back into their stride to take four five rounds consecutively taking the lead 14-13. Lemondogs evened up the score by turning a 5v3 situation into their favour with THREAT winning a 1v1 to keep them in the game. The next round gave Lemondogs match point after Na`Vi decided to save their weapons after having two of their players picked off, with Na`Vi’s save paying off as they took the following round which forced both teams into overtime.

Overtime kicked off with starix getting the opening frag onto kHRYSTAL which led to Na`Vi pushing entry into the B bomb site. zneel was the player who saved the day for Lemondogs as he took down the remaining two Na`Vi players needed to gain the first overtime round. The next two rounds were exchanged to give LD the first half overtime lead 2-1. Second half overtime saw the Ukrainian giants refuse to let victory slip from their grasp as they took the three rounds in a row needed to secure themselves the win.



This puts Lemondogs out of the tournament finishing in fourth place, while Na`Vi will go on to face WinFakt. The winner of the match will then face the upper-bracket winners in the form of Fnatic .
