After almost two years in SK we are sad to announce the release of Kristoffer 'Tentpole' Nordlund. He achieved a lot during those years, with first places at Extreme Masters in LA 2007, second places at WCG 2008, ESWC Masters 2009 and KODE 5 2009.
After a good year (with a few too many second places) we learned that Kristoffer lost the energy for the game and eSports. And instead of letting time pass we took the decision to let him go.
Tentpole has been an inspiration to many new players where his impressive skills were displayed in teams such as NiP, fnatic and SK Gaming, leaving behind more than a handful of fans.
We really want to thank him for those years, and we will remember him as the great person and player he was. Walle continued by saying "The team would like to sincerely thank Kristoffer, a good friend and an awesome player for his time in SK".
Tentpole adds "Thanks for the support everyone, it really means a lot! Thanks to my family for letting me stay up late as a lil' kid, that's how it all started and that's why I got to experience so much. Thanks to my friends and girlfriend for understanding I sometimes had to play instead of hang out. Come say hi at quakenet, #muskelbyggning and #vxo is where I'll be."
He finally adds that delays in tournament payouts leaves a sour aftertaste from a long and successful eSport career.
