Crack Clan had recently been showing strength in the Finnish community, however, their loss against DTS seem to have broken their spirit as they decide to make a few changes.
Tomi 'lurppis' Kovanen and his brother Niko 'naSu' Kovanen thought it would be the right time to now step down from gaming as they have simply become "bored" of the game. Replacing them will be known players to the team, Max Oskari 'ruuit' Aspe and Tino 'tihOp' Puumala.
Tomi 'lurppis' Kovanen tells readmore that his decision wasn't hard to make after the teams bad performance lately, not being invite to the ESWC masters in Korea and numerous prizemoney never being payed out.
I'm really tired of the game and the only reason I played these last months was because of ESWC Korea and WCG in China, so I doubt I'll be touching this game for a while, might still attend some Finnish lans with the old crew, though, later this year.
readmore.eu: There have been rumours circulating about unpaid prize money. Does any tournament owe you any prizes? If so, did that influence your decision?
There are bunch of old events that will never be paid out and ESL is missing 50% of our Season 2 prizemoney (ended in March 2008), obviously all of our prize money from this season (and LA + Dubai money to my brother & co). Of course it makes a difference when you know even if you win you might not make a cent, that combined with the lack of salary and having 0 fun while playing makes the decision pretty easy."
