We are the Esports Championship Series Season 3 champions! Our Brazilians triumphed after multiple strong comebacks against the top two world's best teams.
This is our second back-to-back victory. The previous one was in the Swedish city Jönköping at DreamHack Summer 2017, where we overcame the Swedish powerhouse Fnatic.
Today, we have claimed another championships this time over FaZe Clan, but this is not the end of our journey towards the eleventh official Valve-sponsored Major Championship, PGL Major Krakow 2017.
Our Brazilian division began with two quick and stunning victories over the French team G2 Esports and the later finalists FaZe Clan during the group stage. This secured us the first out of four spots for the playoffs inside the marvelous SSE Arena in Wembley, United Kingdom.
There in the semi-finals we met the ELEAGUE Major Atlanta 2017 champions Astralis Denmark, who managed to squeeze out map number one Overpass, but nothing more as our squad was able to recover and take down the Danes in the following two maps, Mirage and Inferno.
Several hours later we were once again about to be challenged by the European team FaZe, coached by the Counter-Strike veteran and former long time SK Gaming leader
Robert 'RobbaN' Dahlstrom, in the grand final of the third season.
Our CS:GO division had a troublesome start during the final stage on map one, Mirage, as the aggressive play style of the Europeans scored them big advantage during the first half. Despite the slightly better success under the offensive side, SK Gaming failed to outmatch FaZe in the last few rounds.
The second map was Inferno and once again the start was rather unpleasant for our Brazilians, but nevertheless they came back soon enough to secure a fair lead for the second half. However FaZe continued to bash our team away on the CT side resulting in overtime. Luckily, brilliant play from
Gabriel 'FalleN' Toledo and company led the team to an amazing victory and forced third and final map.
The last map of the series was our good old charm Train. SK Gaming went on with an epic lead on the CT side, absolutely demolishing FaZe's attacks until late first half, where the rising superstar
Nikola 'NiKo' Kovač was able to clutch couple of rounds in favor of his team. The series saw another intensive overtime soon after, which fortunately was once again won by our Brazilian squad.
Both of the playoffs matches we played against Astralis and FaZe brought us a lot of emotions, both heart-breaking and thrilling, but our team's burning heart led us to ascension in the end.

Our next tournament will be none other than ESL One Cologne 2017, where we will do our best to defend our title against some of the biggest names in CS:GO history.
Last, but not least, our current primary goal will follow afterwards, the Major itself!
