Last night our very own World of Warcraft team managed to make it into World of Warcraft's history as the only team that has a player in their roster who has won BlizzCon twice and of course, they are the new World of Warcraft Arena Champions after beating Skill Capped EU with a 3-2 score.
After an extended amount of delays we were all ready to get the games underway and we all knew what to expect as both SK Gaming and Skill Capped EU locked in the compositions that they knew by heart - Turbocleave vs RMD.

Small mistakes can cost a match and this was no different. Joefernandes went offensive in the wrong moment while Skill Capped played a very patient game baiting out defensive cooldowns and then making a dangerous swap, scoring the kill and taking Game 1.
Our team captain Swapxy managed to keep everyone level headed and calm as we entered Game 2. Feeling confident the team made no mistakes and managed to snag a kill and tie 1-1 vs their European opponents.

The team was out for blood in Game 3. With back and forth swaps between Raiku, Praii and Healingstat forcing major defensive cooldowns, they managed to land a beautiful kill and secure the win on Skill Capped EU's map choice. This gave us a massive advantage to only have to win on our own map picks.

As we moved forward, we dropped Game 4, however it was an incredible match to watch as the battle went back and forth. In the end Skill Capped managed to get the kill and equalize the score 2-2, leaving the championship title to be decided in the last map.
For the deciding game SK Gaming chose Dalaran Sewers, Turbocleave's ideal map. Once the gates opened they successfully mitigated Skill Capped EU's opener taking the momentum until that dangerous swap that Joefernandes did with him as the anchor, and with Boetar and Swapxy following along, they managed to go in and get the kill, the game and the title!

It seemed like yesterday that we decided to venture back into World of Warcraft esports and we are already making history with Fabio 'Fabss' Nardelli being the first ever player to win BlizzCon twice and Joefernandes taking his first title in his very first attempt. Massive congratulations to them and the whole roster, we are sure this is not the last you have seen from them and there will be plenty more memories and history to be made.
