WICKED eSports earlier today found themselves out of the run-in for the WC3L LAN Finals, the score seemed pretty clear 3-0 with two matches not needed to be played.
However WICKED eSports have now posted the logs of the clan war and are enraged at the lag issues caused by Chinese hosting which apparently caused their Korean players to have a ping of 200+.
WICKED's request to use European and American hosts were declined and WC3L admin Jupe according to WICKED.Cyra used a system of "1st map China / 2nd map Korea / 3rd map coin flip", instead of basing it around the ping of the respective players.
Here is an extract by Cyru following the refusal of a neutral host:
They have pings like 200ms or even more, so Chinese hosts are unplayable for Koreans. On the other hand Korean hosts are playable for Chinese gamers (approx. 10-20ms bigger lag).
