What's so impressive in a game that every computer and calculator can run in a year 2010? I mean, playing this almost single player mambo jambo is zzz. D2 was good because it was not a game of year 2010, back then Pentium 166 could run it and there was not much other games to chose from. Now, graphics are better but gameplay is still the same .. but time moves on. I guess that fanboys will still play it .. but I guess it will be boring.
first of all for d2 u need at least a p2 350mhz and the next thing, it looks a bit different to the old diablo gameplay so im curious about it...
we really didnt see much about it yet, so how the hell can u judge it as probably boring? :/
id wait at least for some more news about it and try to get my mind straight about it by then
Oh... YEAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Well done Blizzard! That looks awesome. Blizzard has always impressed me with the amazing line of graphics/performance. Great GFX With amazing performance with minimal requirements. Amazing. *****************/10* :D
doesnt look bad, pretty impressive tbh. but the thing is will there be the same diablo-feeling while playing?! it looks very good and actionfilled, i juts hope there will be enough motivation over a long time for the game. but in blizz i trust, they will make various terraintypes, quests, bossopponents and hopefully a good story. i hope there will be something non-linear with alternative endings and things that really make a difference for the gamestory in how u handle them.
love D2... it was and still is an amazing game with LOADS of items ... and D3 looks good... i hope that it wont be something like Titan Quest, with boring quests ... yeah, and Secret Cow Lvl FTW!!! :)
I love the impression that the game seems even more "brutal" than the last one : the barbarian definitively seems to be strong enough to get through walls, and the boss are even more impressive and frightening than in the second opus.
Another things which impressed me was the ability to interact with almost everything in the environement : breaking some walls, throwing tables and chairs, or even push some ghouls from the bridge during a fight. You really seems in a world where you can do "what you want".
And the last thing, but not the least : it's graphically very beautiful. The coulours are definitively very nice, and the 3d is not too much "cubic" (like in most of actual games). VERY VERY BEAUTIFUL !!!!
But if we can make a reproach to the game, it would be that the game don't seems to be SO MUCH different than the last opus (in this presentation video). The 2 last games could be sum up like that : you speak 3 minutes in the village and then you go hunting an huge quantity of monsters. Of course, in this game, the ambience (not to be in a reassuring place, and to be powerful), makes everything. And the fact, that you really seems to be a true heroic fantasy heros, killing monsters like a true hero in a battlefield, is why we like the game. But i would like the new opus to be more "free". I mean with a huge quantity of quest (100 or even more), and not only quest where you have to kill monsters, i mean quest you can solve in the city and which are not linked to the story of diablo, and quest you don't HAVE TO DO to end the story. Because if we are a hero, we don't expect a hero to spend his all time to hunt on the battlefield. And so every player could be free to do these quest if they want. Of course if i love diablo it's because of the fights, but in my opinion, it would be something interesting to developp
