The interviewee in this 1on1 is the Polish WC3 player Tomasz "TeRRoR" Pilipiuk who got the short end of the stick in a possible match fixing controversy at the Kode5 Global Final in Moscow.
Hahahaha you have got to be kidding me. I was expecting Terror to be some scary, rocker type of guy instead he is pretty much a happy, generous and smiling person. Nice interview, he didn't seem upset as many think or are after that controversy.
it's really kinda sad that he didn't reach the playoffs at kode5, especially cause he is such a nice guy... BUT i dont think tod or hasoubs should be blamed for this. it was a failure by the admins which didnt force em to play the first match.
just imagine tod kicking out his teammate at kode5... what would you think of tod? that would not have been cool either. and teamorders also take place in other sports, like formula1 just to name one.
best regards, Jonas
ps: why did he choose terror as nick? because of the hardcore band? only interested because i am a big fan of the music and saw them several times live :D
I don't understand why people compare this situation to Formula 1, in F1 every driver has a teammate in the race. TeRRoR had no teammate in his group at Kode5.
Who is responsible for this situation?
Terror/ToD/Hasu/Admins
Why?
Terror didn't argue about this
ToD/hasu used the occasion
Admins didn't follow the rules
IMO Terror should argue about that and tell'em straight that this move is against the rules and so on and so on. He didn't do that so we can't complain... although I think that both Tod and Hasu weren't ok towards Terror. (Poland got screwed up again by German/Frenchman? Nah...)
Great interview as always. Thumb up.
BTW: Terror is the only polish professional player who can actually speak proper English even with some accent.
He was not always like that... smiling etc. After our polish tournament called HLC ( Heyah Logitech Cybersport) he was so pissed off and was whining about everything (ud sux, NE IMBA;p) but now... man... he changed his attitude towards gaming and look at him. Give him 1 more year and better gaming conditions. I believe that Tomek is going to be a beast.
well may be, i didn't knew him personally before kode5 so i can only judje looking at him there. but a lot of people who was there were triyng to support him somehow, so may be this is the one more thing which made him calm after all.
Well, at kode5 he looked like a really good guy, he almost always smiled, he likes to chat with other(referees, players, observers). So, if he continue in such way, he will be a good person and a great player.
After watching this I felt like he was a really down to earth guy, he was very carefree and definitely aware of the scene as well as how things work in it and aware of the fact that ofc, most people won't last in it for ever. Really insightful tbh, I was just surprised he didn't say some bad words about the loss ;P
