Yes, i dont know about this tournament, but usually the team from the winner bracket has some kind of advantage going in the finals, because they havent lost a game yet. For example a map or series lead.

To be knocked out of the tournament you have to lose two matches, for the first lose you will be down in the lower bracket, for the second there is goodbye. In the final the upper bracket team must win only one map, because they haven't lost yet, the lower bracket team must win two, because the upper bracket team is still unbeaten and still have to lose two maps.
