Team NoA Unveil the Last Two Players
It was announced on January 4th 2006 that both Brian "hpx" Pøhl Christensen and Danny Michael "zonic" Sørensen had left the Asylum team to join Jorgen "XeqtR" Johannessen in the new Team NoA squad - a move which may have shocked some of the community, but these two pick-ups will definitely be great assets for the team in the coming year's events.
With three of the five places in the squad filled, Team NoA were of course still looking for the remaining two players to take their places in this prestigious team. The time has come, and those two players have now been announced.
The final two players - who will complete the NoA line-up, are none other than ex-team9 members Preben "prb" Gammelsæter and Lasse "xione" Stokke. With some top results under their belts from playing with team9 in 2005, these two players should be an immense help to the NoA team when going for gold in their tournaments this year.
Below is the official announcement from Team NoA:
"January has been a hectic month of reorganizing for Team NoA, as the important decision was made to release four players from our organization and bring in four new recruits to carry on the Team NoA legacy.
Louis "Red" Nyberg, Ruben "Dark" Bielenberg, Michel "speedi" Gewargis and Andreas "kixer" Sjoelander were notified around Christmas that they were not included in the plans for the Team NoA future. Shortly after, Danny Michael "zonic" Sørensen and Brian Pøhl "hpx" Christensen were recruited and are together with , Lasse "xione" Stokke and Preben "prb" Gammelsaeter, they are now officially Team NoA."
The completed line-up of Team NoA can be found below:
Brian "hpx" Pøhl
Preben "prb" Gammelsæter
Jorgen "XeqtR" Johannessen
Lasse "xione" Stokke
Danny "zonic" Sørensen
It's certainly a mix of some very skilled players, but will it all work out as they want? Only time will tell. In the meanwhile, we wish Team NoA the best of luck for the future!
