Begrip Sweden Calls it Quits

The Swedish team of Begrip took the Swedish Counter-Strike scene with storm at the Swedish ESWC qualifier where they beat fnatic and grabbed the last ESWC spot before NiP and SK. Since that things have been going both good and bad, and their last achievement was a respectable 7-8th place at GameGune 2007. Today, SK Gaming can exclusively reveal that the Swedish team of Begrip will be leaving the organisation, as JAEGARN, threat and niko's contracts run out today and they have chosen not to renew them. The 2 remaining members, get and GeT_RiGhT, are still contracted till the end of August but are available for transfer for a small fee, according to the Begrip manager and owner "individ". We caught up with the man behind Begrip, Vasili "individ" Rikardsson to ask a few questions about the situation.

So what's the problem with Begrip right now, the players don't want to renew their contracts?
That's right. We had a meeting last monday and the players said that they will not renew the contracts with Begrip.
Will they stick together as a team?
I don't know.
Why do you think they don't want to renew, did they have any problems within the team or with the organisation?
They did not tell the reason but I think they are looking for a richer organisation that can provide salaries.
What's the plan now for the Begrip organisation, can we expect a new Swedish team or will you focus 100% on your Russian one?
Yes we will scout for a new Swedish team. Probably in the Stockholm area making it easier to be at lan as much as possible.
So there is no chance that we will see the JAEGARN, GeT_RiGhT, get, niko and threat back in Begrip again?
I will not close the door all the way because this is the most charismatic team I ever worked with and I can somewhat understand the frustration when the guys are beating the teams with salary but don't receive any.
Thanks a lot for your time and good luck with Begrip, any last comments you want to say?
Would like to say a big thanks to all the players for their time and efforts and also a big special thanks to the EHT who made this summer very special =)- "I don't know if we will stay together, but what I do know is that we need a stable organisation." says their star player GeT_RiGhT when asked about the teams future.
The free players (or soon to be): get
GeT_RiGhT
JAEGARN
niko
threatThis dramatic ending of Begrip's Swedish team is far from finished, and we will keep you updated as soon as more details are revealed!
