When I was in school I would treat learning as a forced thing. A lot of things I was told I had to learn I didn't want to at that time, and that held me back a lot in my studies. After I left school, I found that learning was easier because I could learn what I wanted, in the environment I wanted and it wasn't forced or graded.

If you worry about always being right and doing the right thing and getting the right answer, you will only hinder yourself. Try just going into things headfirst and not being so tentative and worried about always getting things perfect, things will come to you quicker and you will be a lot happier and able to do the things you love.

Everything is perspective, what a person takes from reading or listening to one person or another is up to the person listening/reading.

What does it matter where the knowledge came from? So long as good was gained.

Yeah I know what you mean. The books I have I was careful to buy, they are okey, the analects is perfect. However the ethics could be better, it is a translation (of course) but the author threw in his thoughts and perspectives as well.

The sad part about finding good writings of Confucius' work is that, he never really wrote any of it down, it was his disciples who did later, with the analects. And with time, a lot of it gets lost or miss interpreted. I had the same problem with Sun Tzu; The Art of War.
