I am father of one

I still remember the day of celebrating my son's first birthday with my buddies at my uncle's restaurant. I awoke next day to the electric pain of a hangover, my eyes felt as if they had been sprayed with pepper source and my tongue was stuck to the roof of my mouth......

At 1-year-old my son looks already like a ringer for me: thick haired and big eyed, he also has my natural confidence.

Sometimes he loves grins even though we like his infectious laugh he has so much, his grins are special as they always belie the naughty intention of its bearer......

I bought him a puppet a week ago, at the beginning I thought he liked the puppet, but soon I found he likes pulling the strings. He loves water but hates bath, every time we have to put in a hefty dollop of Matey or some of his toys that could float so as to stick him in the bath. Once he settles in there we have to do the wash quickly as usually the moment won't last long.

He is a gentle, caring child. He shares his favorite food and toys with other children; he slowly put his hands on my face when I am exhausted after day's work and laying on the bed.

He likes saying papa, probably for him papa is easier pronounced than mama, but I am pretty sure that he has no idea about "what papa is" as he keeps calling his toy or food papa, and even a giant panda in Beijing zoo.
