My name is Jon Lunceford, and I am 23 years old, and studying at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL, USA. I have also studied at Auburn University, Birmingham-Southern College, and Rutgers University. I am a journalism major, and a communications studies minor. I help cover console eSports for SK Gaming.

I have been writing all my life, and decided it's what I want to continue to do for the rest of my life. I also currently work as a sports journalist covering American College Football for ESPN Radio.

I got into gaming in about 2004 with Halo: CE, and haven't looked back. Since then, I have competed in MLG, WCG, WSVG, CPL, and more, and have had a hand in working with all of those in some way as well. I am a current two-time Team USA member for WCG, and have represented in the WCG Grand Finals in 2008 in Cologne, Germany, and in 2009 in Chengdu, China where I finished with a bronze medal in Red Stone. I have worked for MoB Gaming, vVv Gaming, and my own organization - Cool Runnings, in the past in the USA.

I've basically retired from actually playing the games, and have been trying to become a full time eSports journalist instead. That's why I came to write for SK. I feel my talents are better served for writing, and not management.
