PGS: Valve first launched Source and lately long waited ProMod was released. So why professional gamers still play Counter-Strike 1.6?
Spawn: Simple question. Source is bad and 1.6 is good still. This has nothing to do with this question but i just wanna get it of my chest. Most of source players are 1.6 players who dident make it.

HLTV.org: We have already seen some of the former Made in Brazil players switching to CS:Source and CGS. What are your thoughts about CS:Source and CGS?
bit1: I think that nobody prefer Source over 1.6. All of the players that went to Source, is because of the money, or because they don’t have chance in 1.6. I highly doubt we will see more big teams switching to Source.

NESC: Det gikk rykter en liten stund at du hadde planer til å konvertere til Source, sammen med cbteam. Kan du bekrefte eller avkrefte disse?
REAL: Vel med tanke på at MG var top35 i cs 1.6 da de konverterte(nå er de best) sier vel sitt om spillet. Drozo og warclown var webdesigners og managers i 1.6 miljøet og er rocking the clock i source nå. Så vi gode 1.6 spillerne behøver vel ikke akkurat satse på det for å bli best innen landegrensa vår. Source er ett dårlig spill, og jeg kan avkrefte ryktet om at vi skal/har hatt planer om å spille det, men jeg kan samtidig bekrefte at ALLE cgs lag hater source og vil back til 1.6(eYyY latest on xoxoxoxGOSSIPREAL)


MYM closes the CS:S division:
Back in 2007 we took in the Danish Counter-Strike Source team from H2K, mostly to secure a top team for a potential swift between CS 1.6 and CSS amongst the global events. Since none of the events have replaced CS 1.6 with CSS and most likely won't ever, we have lost believe in game and are therefore closing down the division to focus on other upcoming games and the ones we already have.
