Description
Founder and manager for Meet Your Makers ( http://www.meetyourmakers.com) since 2000 (Official launch 2001 March), and also one of the owners behind the company that owns mYm (RITE - Regroup IT & eSports Corp). Besides that i have been involved in and founded a lot of other projects like:- Banned.dk
(Anticheat site 2000/2001)
- The Cleaners
(Anticheat site with coders 2000/2002)
- Sentinel
(Anticheat program for CS, 2001/2002)
- Xtreme League (XL)
(Money League)
- Dansk Esports Union (DEU)
(Founded the Danish Esports Union, i stepped down as a member of the board in 2002, ongoing)
- RITE (Regroup IT & eSports Corp.)
(eSports company that amongst many things run and own the Team mYm, ongoing)
- Gamers Generation (G_G)
(Clothing brand, ongoing)
- mYm (Current, ongoing)
- EPTA - eSport Player & Transfer Agency
(Thw worls first progaming agency that handles transfer and acting as agent for progamers in primary Warcraft 3 and Broodwar, but also CS, UT etc. http://www.esportagency.com , ongoing)
Former teams in games such as Rainbow 6 (GoDs 1997) , Rainbow 6 (GrWc 1999), Counter-Strike (D2E), Counter-Strike (MYM).
Started with CS at about beta 5.1, played as a clan layer until 2000, then i started fulltime as manager for MeetYourMakers.
In 2002 Ravenshield was released, the sequel for Rainbow Six, the game i have always played, so i started gaming RvS, but quit due to a buggy game and a non supportive lan scene in 2004. February 2004 i started gaming UT2004 together with most of the old Rvs.sca players, but unfortunately we never got it going and the UT2004 section was one of the 6 divisions to be cut down in mYm, after a reestablished plan for the future. Now i play UT2004 on "fun" basis and spend all my time on the management/administration part of mYm.
My time in CS was converted to eSports fulltime, thats where my interests are.
In RL i am working as a IT-Broker and Key Acount Manager for one of Denmarks larger computer distributors.
Online some think i am an arrogant mofo, true true, but you are what ppl. want you to be and i am who i am, if that makes me a bitch, then thats what i am, and i proud .Òó
What to expect from me as a manager ? Expect the unexpected.
Questions:
Do you believe that eSport will ever become common known and acknowledged?
In it's current state no, it's still on a level where it wont go all the way. There needs more professionalism, spin doctors and a overall committee to control the scene, like FIFA, IOC etc. And that wont happen until there comes more money in esport. EU is not Asia, we have a lot to learn.
