Gaming Profile
Hey as you can see you already have the most basic information such as my name and age. So here is more about me ...

I started playing Quake when it was launched approximately 8 years ago (in 1996) and I rather enjoyed the atmosphere and in particular the first person view from which you played. Being at such a young age I found such enemies and foes difficult and even a challenge on the medium skill setting, so I usually opted for easy. I also played Quake online a few hours a week a year later, QuakeWorld which was released made much more of a multiplayer experience and I then got hooked on that.

The same year Duke Nukem 3D was released, which I managed to get hold of and played that to death. Compared to Quake I found this relatively easy, even on the hard option. Although Duke Nukem 3D was the first chance I got in creating the world for a game, and became interested in Level-Design. The editor allowed be to use a "Drop and Drag" effect and then go in-game and see what I had created. Okay back then it was nothing special, but to me I had accomplished a great task.

Two years later my cousin got a copy of Half-Life with a Voodoo 2 3DFX card on the official release date. I often played Half-Life and with the Science-Fiction story it has, and the fact I am still playing it now tells you that I am a great fan of the game, through out its 5 year reign over the gaming world, and especially the mod community. I did manage to play Counter-Strike Beta 1, although the community was around 20 players at maximum for that period, with an average of one server. I never really bothered with Level-Design at the time.

Before the year of 2002 and after 1998 I played a few games such as the Warcraft & Starcraft series, and Unreal/Unreal Tournament. Thats when my interest in Level-Design picked up again, along with my passion for what was now the biggest multiplayer game in the world - Counter-Strike.

Although I did not play Counter-Strike as much as I'd like, nor make any real levels for it, I had become firmly established in the Natural-Selection community. I am still there today, aswell as playing and contributing to Counter-Strike.
