_____________________________________________________Don't let the lengh or the sickness of the beginning of this profile scare you from reading the whole profile. Try looking harder and you'll see that is much more to this profile then just sick looking stuff. And if you don't wanna read it all, I recommand you read "my vision" and the info about Tarzan.
Honor to the following ppl who have shown that they can see so much more in this profile. They looked with their hearts instead of their eyes.

I'm an immature adult. I'm also a sick freak. That's probably why I have so few friends.
1337 logins on the 10th of August 2003, not very long after I signed up. Why so many you ask? It's because I have no life :/
1337th hit by PulP-.
Remember to answer all my polls, that's what I live for, making dumb polls.
Remember that every word in this profile is completely true..... in a way.

Three simple ways to get more hits on schroet:
Yeah, ok, this section is worthless now when they no longer count hits, but I'll keep it for nostalgic reasons.
1: Get famous.
Become a SK member, or get famous by writing news, uploading demos, write good things in the forums or cheering ppl up somehow. That will make you loved by users and it will generate hits to you.
2: Get infamous.
Spam the forums, write crap about everything and everyone, create meaningless forum threads, especially in different forums with the same basic idea (like "sex or CS" and "sex or war3"). Making threads with old ideas, like "best player", "best race", etc always works.
Anyway, when ppl see the meaningless crap you write, they will visit your profile thinking, "who the heck is this moron". You got your hits, that's it. This is the quickest and easiest way, but to quote Yoda: "If you choose the quick and easy path as Vader did, you will become an agent of evil"
3: Be a girl.
"What?" I hear you say. Yes, you got it right, "be a girl". Now, for the girls out there, I don't need to say more. However, the majority of the people here in schroet don't have the gift of being a girl. But, fear not, I have some advice for you too.
First, change your sex to female and get a reasonable picture, a bit sexy, but not too sexy, then it will be obvious that you are not a girl. Write some girlish info, remember to hint a bit that you are single and plays alot of whatever game you like. Your profile is done? Get out and visit some boys' profiles, write in their guest books etc. You have no idea how much your hits and guest book entries will increase after this. Actually, neither have I, cause I've never tried it. If someone actually has, please message me to verify if it works.

Cartoon/Videogame/Computergame females I've been/are in love with:
Belle (Disney's Beauty and the beast)
(Discovered her in 2003, and I will admire her as long as I believe that beauty is found within)
Belle, the beauty (her name means beauty in case you didn't know) herself, not only beautiful on the outside. She could see something that others could not.
Quote: "He's no monster"
Pic: http://www.bktv.se/~a3087a/Belle.jpg
Dixie Kong (Donkey Kong Country 2)
(I admired her mostly in authum 1999, before I found Tarzan and Kala. Dixie has no spiritual value any longer)
Dixie Kong, my favorite character in one of my favorite Nintendo games of all time, Donkey Kong Country. My best character thanks to her abilities, not because she's a girl. But she is also the most beautiful monkey I've ever seen. She has also held some amount of inspiration for me, which I still cannot understand myself.
Pic: http://www.bktv.se/~a3087a/Dixie.gif
I bet you wanna spank this monkey huh? :D
Jasmine (Disney's Aladdin)
(I started to admire this character summer 2003... I don't really know why, maybe a little spiritual value.. maybe good looks? :D The poll would support that theory though)
Jasmine, the beautiful princess. A "prisoner" in her own castle, longing for freedom. Just like Aladdin and the genie. Aladdin was one of my favorite movies when I was a child. It also has this concept about impossible love.
Quote: "Please, try to understand."
Pic: http://www.bktv.se/~a3087a/Jasmine.jpg
Kala (Tarzan's adoptive mother in Disney's Tarzan)
(I have admired this character ever since I first saw her on the 21st November 1999 and I will continue do so forever. She will forever be my favourite female movie/game/whatsoever character)
This middle aged gorilla female isn't very attractive. She doesn't have many votes in the poll so I suppose it speaks for itself. So I guess no one will believe me when I say that for me, this character is by far the greatest of them all.
Quote: "Close your eyes.
Now forget what you see."
*Puts Tarzan's hand to his body so he can feel his heart beat.*
"What do you feel?"
Pic: http://www.bktv.se/~a3087a/Kala.jpg
Mulan (Disney's Mulan)
(I admired her mostly in during 2000, not so much today. The legacy of her spiritual value remains, otherwise I wouldn't write this stuff in my profile.)
I can't believe I actually forgot about this character when I wrote about the others, so therefore she's not featured in the poll, but oh well....
Mulan, the Chinese girl who didn't manage to uphold the traditions and therefore brought dishonor to her family. She took her father's place in the army. Forced to hide her true personality she plays a key role in the defeat of the Huns. And when she's revealed to be a girl she is abandoned. Brokenhearted for several reasons: being abandoned and dishonored, she also realizes that you don't get ppl to like you by pretending to be someone you aren't. And also the feeling that she can't do anything right. Believe me, I know those things too well.
Quote: "Somehow I cannot hide, who I am, though I've tried."
Pic: http://www.bktv.se/~a3087a/Mulan.jpg
The Amazon (Diablo2)
(I admired her mostly when I played Diablo2 non stop, in like 2000-2001. No spiritual value, well, maybe all the nice time I got in Diablo2.... Otherwise... sexy look maybe :D)
My favorite character in one of my favorite games of all time, Diablo2. I played it non-stop on b.net for a long time, making some very good characters. The greatest feeling was when I for the first time became a Queen (killing Diablo on hell difficulty in hardcore mode, Hardcore means you only got one life... if you die it's all over, start a new char) with my amazon, Jungle Jane, level 63. That's probably my greatest moment in Diablo2. Notice that this was long before the skill-less days of cow runs and bloody runs in the expansion. And of course the amazon is probably the sexiest char in Diablo2 :)
Sometimes I wonder how many hours blizzard spent on trying to make the chars look as sexy as possible.... so all the sick ppl like me would buy their games just for the girls :D
Pic: http://www.blizzard.com/diablo2/wallpapers/wall02.shtml
The Sorceress (Diablo2)
(I admired her mostly when I played Diablo2 non stop, in like 2000-2001. No spiritual value in this character.)
First character I played in Diablo2, she has always been one of the characters I like, not only because of her good looks :D
My first b.net char was a sorc, ending at level 77 (not hardcore), easily top20 in the sorc ladder at that time. This too was before the skill-less cow runs and bloody runs of LoD.
I have also done a so called... ahem.. "nude sorc", a sorc without any items. Playing without items and without help from others, I've reached an impressive level 50, and she's still alive. And I still can't understand how I could kill Diablo on nightmare with -30% resistance to all.
Oh, yeah, and one more thing. The sorceress was the first (and only so far) character to give one of my characters a kiss.

Cartoon/Videogame/Computergame males I admire/have admired:
Lemmy Koopa (Super Mario Bros3 and others)
(I admired him a long time ago, in like 1992-93 or something)
Lemmy Koopa, one of the Koopa kids first introduced Super Mario Bros 3, which btw is probably the best NES game ever. Pretty funny character that is actually walking on a football or some kind of ball. I remember me that in my young days (I was like 10 years old) my friend and I pretended to be the koopa kids when we played. Walking on the football stuff was kinda hard and I avoided it, but I actually tried it a bit.
I guess it's pretty unusual to admire one of the bad guys.
But this character also stands for the fun when you were younger, when you were a kid and had fun playing. When you grow up there's alot of responsability and stuff like that, but being young means you can just relax, enjoy life and have fun.
The playfulness of children.
Pic: http://www.bktv.se/~a3087a/Lemmy.jpg
Tarzan (Disney's Tarzan)
(I have admired this character ever since I first saw him, and I will continue to do so forever.)
Tarzan, the little boy in the lioncloth. An outcast within the group of gorillas. Why? Because he's different. Though his (gorilla) mother, Kala, teaches him that it's what inside that counts, not how you look. She takes care of him and encourages him to go on.
This young Tarzan reminds me of someone I know, or atleast used to know.
And a big thanks from the deepest bottom of my once broken heart goes to those who acted like Kala did, instead of being bullies.
Quote: "Why are you threatened by anyone different from you?"
Pic: http://www.bktv.se/~a3087a/Tarzan.jpg
The Beast (Disney's Beauty and the beast)
(I started to admire this character when I first saw Beauty and the beast in the beginning of 2003. He reminds me of someone I know, or maybe I used to know)
Many, many, many, many (well, no, I'm exaggerating, but oh well) have said some stuff about my looks, although it's all bs, after hearing it for 10 years it's pretty hard not to believe it. And who could ever learn to love a beast?
Quote: "It's no use. She's so beautiful and I'm... Well, look at me!"
Pic: http://www.bktv.se/~a3087a/Beast.jpg
Yoshi (Super Mario World and many others)
(I admired this character in the first half lf the '90ies, he doesn't have or have never had any spiritual value. He's just a nice character)
Probably my favorite male videogame hero, I remember all the fun with Super Mario World, and the totally brilliant game Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's island which is together with Donkey Kong Country my favorite SNES game of all time. I remember that I actually drew my own comics about this character. I remember that some of my friends laughed at those "childish comics".....

If you enjoy classic games like Doom2 you can visit the Alien Vendetta homepage.
http://www.doom2.net/~av/
and download a complete 32 maps set for Doom2. Two of the maps in that project are done by me (map03 & map04).
Another project is Hell Revealed 2, a tribute to the famous level designer and speedrunner (mostly in Quake, he's famous for doing many demos in Quake done Quick) Yonathan Donner.
http://www.doomworld.com/hr2/
The maps from me are: 20, 23 and 31.
Although it says that map 20 and 23 belongs to someone else, well, someone must have screwed up...
My best alone standing map is called Legacy, it has nothing to do with the doom port "Doom Legacy", I simply called it legacy cause it was my last level, and it was going to carry the legacy of my.... time as a doom level designer.
You will need the Alien Vendetta map pack as well to play this map, cause it uses textures from Alien Vendetta.
It's available here:
http://www.bktv.se/~a3087a/legacy.zip
If you're really interested in my levels, just ask me, I got a bunch of other maps too. I got everything ranging from fairly ok to crappy beyond words. :D
_____________________________________________________
If you enjoy Quake (Quake1 that is) you can pay http://www.planetquake.com/qdq/ a visit. There you can download so called speedruns. Demos when they complete the maps as fast as possible, using all kinds of tricks like rocket jumping, bunny hopping (aka strafejumping) etc.
I only have 3 demos in 2 different projects, not any of the bigger ones either. If you're interested, check "Quake 2 done Quick too" and "Speed completely Beyond Belief". I recommend downloading "Quake done Quick with a Vengance" though. Did you know you can complete the entire Quake in less then 13 minutes on the hardest skill level (Nightmare)?
You can find some videos (which doesn't require Quake to run) here:
http://www.planetquake.com/sda/videos.html
_____________________________________________________
I have a bigger Warcraft III project going on, but I'll write about that "when it's done". Yeah, it's delayed beyond words, but believe me, it's going to be finished, I've came too far to fail now.
Head over to:
http://maps.worldofwar.net/maps.php?id=5119
And download my UMS, Click the Creep.
_____________________________________________________
If you like Nintendo games, you can head over to http://bisqwit.iki.fi/jutut/nesvideos/ and download my bubble bobble time attack (Bittorrent req). A time attack is a cheated/tool assisted speedrun. An emulator has been used, with slow motion and save states to create the "perfect" run. So know that nothing in the movie, except the route planning is skill, it's almost entirely for entertainment. I loaded my save states over 6000 times. :D
Here's a link if you don't have bittorrent:
http://www.bktv.se/~a3087a/bubblebobble-2players-alonev2-mattiasb.avi
(It may not always be available on the above adress, it's my personal web space, where I store files sometimes, and it's very limited.)
Oh, and if you like Quake and Mario combined, here's a funny video clip for you:
http://www.bktv.se/~a3087a/Mario-Quake.avi
Someone has even written an article about the so called Time attack community for some newspaper in Phoenix, Arizona, US. And I even got a quote in there :D

And, no, sorry, I don't have anything notable in CS, only a few crappy CS movies which sucks too much.
My greatest achivement in CS is probably this:

Comments about the polls:
Who do you prefer?
You don't need to tell me this profile more or less assumes you're a male, but since like 99% of the ppl here are male, I had to make the poll in that direction.
What do you think about "my vision"?
It's nice to see that ppl like it. It's easy to like something, but making it come true is alot harder...
Biggest threat to Humanity?
"Greatest threat to humanity" would be more correct, but I was too lazy to create that poll again. But it appears that nuclear war is the greatest threat to us. And some ppl like to answer the "funny" answer :)
Who is most attractive?
It's nice that one of the non-human chars finally got a vote. Remember that there are different ways to be attractive. Being attractive is not always defined by the looks of someone, sometimes you have to look harder... This is of course different from person to person.
Oh, and btw, isn't it nice that the apes got a few votes too, I think so.
And btw again, while checking out the imdb.com I encountered this funny thread.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103639/board/nest/6630484
Oh, and here's another funny thread which happened to cross my path.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0101414/board/nest/11234300
Best race?
Most ppl here at schroet are CS nerds.
Diablo2 1.10 patch
See above.
Warcraft III expansion?
See above, any of the two above you like actually.
Is it right to call bad people n00bs?
Oh come on ppl, is this what we want, a community where we hate each other? Some ppl don't play as much as others, or learn slower. I can accept that you call ppl noobs if they're really asking for it. But otherwise I think it's lame. I would love to see a community where we could live together in harmony, but I think I was born to the wrong world for that.
_____________________________________________________
My vision: "Together we can live in harmony."
_____________________________________________________
Once upon a time there was an enchanted world called Internet, or as many ppl called it, "the net". This was a fantastic place where ppl could meet and talk, play games, exchange files, the possibilities were endless. I remember the feeling, you can send mail, electronic mail, e-mail, now was that cool or what? And ICQ, fantastic program and probably one of the most known programs on the internet today. Sitting up late and talking to your friends, playing games and absolutely no whine about your 500-1000 ping, ah yeah, those were they days.
I got my cable modem in 1998, which was really great, not many could get a whooping 64k/s download in those days and no minute cost which most Swedes (and many others) suffered from in those days. I had only spent a very little amount of time on the internet before that.
Sometime in 98-98, I can't really remember, I was browsing some Quake site and I encountered a very strange word I could not understand. It wasn't a word, it was actually a number, One thousand three hundred thirty seven, more common known as 1337. I was confused, why writing a number like that. I never figured out why that number was there and left the site not knowing I had for the first time in my life encountered one of the most used words in today's gaming community.
Well, I can't remember when I actually found it what it meant, but I started using it too with time.
As we know a lot of words like this have been found since and one of them is a very common word which means beginner, the word newbie. It soon evolved into noob, n00b etc.
Now here's my problem:
Why does everything, EVERYTHING has to be so noob, elite, haxxor, suxxor, whatsoeverxxor. Take war3 or CS for example, if you screw up or something, you're a noob, period. No matter what you say you're a noob, realize it, you're worth nothing, and the guy who calls you noob is 1337, he's the master and you can't do anything about it.
Ok, I'm exaggerating but you have seen the concept in action, countless times.
I don't mind words like 1337, noob etc, but why must we always be so unfriendly on the internet? Why not realize that everyone does mistakes, maybe he/she had a little bad luck and got knifed, or screwed up and lost his/her hero. Everyone does mistakes, you, me, everyone!
I wish for a community where ppl are friendly, no "stfu you noob" or stuff like that. Is it really so hard to not write things like that? Is the temptation so great? And for what reward, what do you gain? Honor? Self-confidence? More 1337-ness? Most ppl can see that's it's just foolish, so why do we do this all the time? Because we have to show that we are more 1337 then that other n00b? Maybe my blind eyes can't see what others can? Or is it the opposite?
A song which has inspired me is a song called "In harmony" which seems to belong to The little mermaid 2: Return to the sea soundtrack, though I can't find it in any soundtrack listing. It may be a song that was never used in the movie. I'm not really sure what it comes from. You can probably find it with any p2p program if you search for "mermaid harmony" or something like that.
Anyway, in that song they sing for example:
"It's what's unique in each of us that we all share as friends"
"You and me together we can live in harmony"
Now I'm not asking everyone to just go out and simply _love_ everyone that they meet in the community. I'm asking for a little respect. Try not to ruin the game by calling ppl noobs. Try to be a friendlier instead, wouldn't it be great?
I have for long believed that love and friendship are the greatest gifts of life.
And if everyone could bring a little friendship to others wouldn't we have a better community? The CS community is infamous due to this problem and you know it.
Now the ultimate utopian ending of this concept would be what they sing in the song "Together we can live in harmony". I'm not asking for harmony, I'm just asking for a little friendship, and I know that everyone can show it if they really try. I always try to avoid being unfriendly, but no one is perfect, but at least we can try, can't we?
Now any sane person can see that this will never be true, this problem has come to stay, just like war, crime, greed, starvation, natural disasters and all the other bad things in this world. There will always be others who have to be unfriendly to others.
So look around you and ask yourself:
Is it worth believing in this idea of love and friendship? Or is it pointless since it will never, ever, become fully true.
"Together we can live in harmony"
_____________________________________________________
Another vision: "Find a way to help us"
_____________________________________________________
A long time ago (around 15 years) in a school far, far (Or, well it takes only around 5-10 minutes to walk, but that's far, cause I'm lazy) away. This was when I was like 7-9 years old, my first years in school. I was an outcast, just like the little boy in the lioncloth. And, also there was this girl, she was also an outcast. She was bullied cause "she was fat and stupid. Well, I really stood on both sides, sometimes I disliked her, sometimes I was her friend. To be honest, I don't know if I was good or bad. But what really sucks is that even though I knew how it felt to be an outcast, I was kinda mean against her. How could that be?
I too am familiar with people who are your friend at one time, but your enemy at the next. Those are the most heartbreaking people. They light your hope by being friendly, only to crush your hope by showing the other side. Funny, how could I suffer by the same thing, and still not be better myself then to do it against someone? Pretty rotten, don't you think?
Well, the lack of understanding is the problem. Which of course brings me to the main thing about this. The songs that has inspired me to write this vision, the Brother bear soundtrack songs, Great Spirits and Look through my eyes by Phil Collins. The movie itself is about a man who hates bears, but he is magically transformed into a bear, and gets to see things from their eyes. A wonderful part of the lyrics of the songs are:
"Great Spirits of all who lived before
Take our hands and lead us
Fill our hearts and souls
With all you know
The key to understanding
Is to see through other eyes
Find a way to help us
See from eyes"
The song itself is about the 3 brothers who sing about the spirits of their ancestors, which is a pretty important part of the movie. However it is the line "Key to understanding is to see through other eyes" which holdes the greatest value. As I see it, the key to understanding is to see through others eyes. If I would have stopped and just tried to see through that poor outcast girls eyes. Wouldn't I see the same sad reality like I saw myself?
We'll never know, cause I didn't. But I was young and foolish then, now I know better. So before you say something bad to that "ugly guy", before you judge that fat guy before you know him, before you call that guy who was just knifed a noob, before you complain that your ally sucks, before you call that lagger a noob... Before you judge someone you don't know, take a look through his eyes. You'll be amazed what you find.
So I ask you, the community, the internet to look around yourselves and find a way to help us, to see through others eyes. We have the power, just show it. Look harder before you judge people, see through their eyes. And btw, didn't someone once say that you should treat people the way you want to be treated yourself?
"You'll be amazed what you find"
