This will conclude our staged-movies series. It's the one - the only - and the most blatant.
I'm talking about the cpl.1337 video, which some of you might have seen, and which all of you will remember henceforth. The staging is so well done that it almost becomes art. Each frag in this short video is so unbelievable, that I doubt none of you would believe they are real for a second. The only noticeable weakness is that the hud is left visible and because of staging the "+$300" money addition is naturally not visible. By removing hud or simply even faking the money with an editing program would have made an impressive effect.
Apart from frags, the movie consists of a short intro & outro-like parts, which take some 10 seconds leaving only about 30 seconds for the frags. Hence, it feels really short and in a way it would have been nice to see even more of this imaginative work.
About editing there isn't much to say, very average, hardly any effects or transitions. Also the music used wasn't the best choice in my opinion. With a little different type of music the atmosphere this video created would have been great.
All in all, very nice and creative entertainment, a must download for all of you, especially with such a low filesize. I'm not criticising this movie for the staging as that in fact is the key of this movie and the creator doesn't even try to cover it, compared to e.g. Status: Owned! 2.
