Description
TODAY everybody is trying to be elite, even those who certainly aren't. When I started playing no-one tried to appear better then they were. Those who were elite simply were.
Today the cs-scene is filled with small 14-18 year olds that are all so self-occupied by how good they are (according to their own opinions) that it's impossible to make them admit that people can be better than they are.
In order to prove my point you should just take an everyday public server as example. If you kill someone by an obvious skill-shot they will immediately go screaming luck. That didn't happen during the old times, but now when there are 14 year olds playing the game even some of the older players sink to their level.
And to everyone out there who has an attitude out there on the net, you're more than welcome to keep up that attitude as much as you want. As long as you can back it up in real life. I've heard and seen too many small brats that are so big in their mouth but when it all comes down to reality they run and hide. Just be as you are in real life, is that too much to ask for?
And to all those teams out there that make you work your ass off just to send you a headset (after months waiting for it) when they promise you the world, and to those kids who write news and think they are something special, then all I can say is keep it up because this is why e-sport will never really truly be professional.
Take care all :)
This is a list of teams I played/worked for during my 6 years within e-sports:-
