Well, yes I don't like them that much, although that might change ^^
I used to hate Death Metal growls and the such, for example, and I used to look at them as just... worthless screaming, "wannabe-scary-monsters" I used to think :p but now, I love them (the "deeper" the better :D ) and I know how difficult they can be, and also how beautiful they could sound (just listen to the first growls on My Dying Bride's "The Bitterness And The Bereavement" and you'll see what I mean ^^).
So I'd say that I'm more interested in melodic stuff more than raw stuff at the moment. I don't hate the raw stuff though, but I just need some more time to get better used to it I think.
