Inside The Mind #1: The New CPL Format : Old URL
Inside The Mind was a new feature for 2007 at SK until I went inactive. We will go into the minds of our writers to bring you their thoughts on the different areas of eSports, a more indepth personal statement on a number of issues. Many of the features will be opinionated, but what isn't in eSports? Over the next few months more features will come out under the ITM banner, some will be open opinions and views on certain issues, like the new CPL tournament format. The other features will include tactical summaries in a different light, instead of the usual tactical breakdowns which will come back with a bang in 2007.

The WC3L Breakdown: Old URL
The biggest and best breakdown of a WC3 event to date. All 4 teams took apart, and statisically explained each players strengths and weaknesses of the season.

2005 eSports Award: Best Online Coverage Site eSports-Award.org
While I was Editor in Chief at SK-Gaming.com we won the eSports Award, voted for by the gaming community for having the best online eSports coverage site. With a number of top sites, SoGamed, GotFrag? and Fragbite in competition we went from strength to strength achieve the crown.

2006 eSports Award: Best Online Coverage Site eSports-Award.org
As Editor in Chief for 11 of the 12 months of the year, SK again won the eSports Award for the best online coverage site. Defeating ESReality and Replays.net this year and again defeating Fragbite and GotFrag. The Award was given to SK after having the majority of the votes from the community, without a strong community this would not have been possible.

Had a great 2 years at SK, would not have swapped my time at SK for anywhere else. Will miss the busy coverage weekends with 3/4 different games going on, main shoutouts go to immo, bds, gosey, iantje, ph33r and Keni. Also big thanks to Enrique, Insomnia, HoT, Deadman, NuKe, RotterdaM and Zeus[19] for helping me through my 4 months of WC3 work.

- 4Kings : Organiser (2000 - 2002)
Was a great couple of years, my 1st day in the CS world was with 4Kings, and thanks to a few of the old faces I still cheer them on today. A small claim to fame while at 4K I was the first main organiser/war arranger, and not to sound to big headed, was the best around too. Was good times, being a random and mixing with Europes finest. Huge shoutouts go to.. (in no particluar order) Marc (Mangiacapra/Liquid), Jonny (TheGenius), Doug (Wright), Dan (Lucking/DanFrag), PB (Kwak/Darth), Oppie, Greg (DArtagnan), Stu (lil), Ewen (KD), Ross (nemo), Venom, Nick (Purple).

i9 & CPL Dallas Qualifier Weekend was probably the most enjoyable weekend in my "eSport Career". Staying at the Neffgen Palace was entertaining too, never seen so many beds made in 2 rooms. Especially after the dodgy drive to his place with Doug, who claimed he didn't fall asleep at the wheel, but I saw those eyes closing fast. Also I had the fun moment of getting raped by 4K in the i7 tournament. Shouts of "P90 Rush Ramp" (My holding position vs 4K), they even upped the P90s to Paras, my teammates never had a chance. They then became nocturne and formed the best rivalry in UK eSports History with 4Kings. The next morning was the CPL Dallas Quals, the biggest event to hit the UK really, all paid flights to Dallas to enter the biggest tournament in the world. I arrived at TPF during the semi finals which 4K won, and then watched as they took apart nocturne, was a great weekend!
