The Electronic Sports League - ESL - with its 790,000 active members and more than 2000 matches per day is Europe's biggest online computer gaming league. The league is subdivided into the ESL Pro Series, the professional league, the EAS, the amateur league and the ladder system, which allows players to enjoy random games without further commitments.

The ESL Pro Series is the national championship in the Electronic Sports League. Only the best of the 790,000 gamers qualify for the competition.

Warcraft 3 team world championship

The ESL WC3L Series, the Warcraft 3 Clan-League, is the world championship of team Warcraft 3. Here the twelve best clubs of electronic sports battle for the crown in real-time straregy game Warcraft 3 und a prize of at the moment €20,000. The first season started at the end of 2002, since then the League is battled twice a year. The league is characterised by a particularly strict set of rules, and demands from the participants professional behavior in all interests.
European Nations Championship (ENC)

The ESL ENC – European Nations Championship - is the European championship for national teams. 24 nations compete for the European championship once every year, and just like any other major sports event, the ESL ENC is preceded by a qualification round. Only the best teams attend the ESL ENC final, which is held at the Games Convention in Leipzig.

The Electronic Sports League (ESL) proudly presents the ESL Major Series (EMS) powered by Asus. Every game can possibly be selected as part of the EMS, for the first time allowing players of all kinds of games to have a real Pro competition in their respective disciplines. The ESL Major Series starts off with 9 different games.
The ESL Major Series is the collection of Pro leagues situated right below the ESL Pro Series and Intel® Extreme Masters path. While other ESL tournaments are potentially offering offline finals or TV studio matches for some games, the ESL Major Series is mainly executed online.
With a rich variety of game genres, ESL Major Series is the object of affection for a large part of the eSports community. In future seasons even more games will be featured.
