The cameraman can surely use the money to get treatment for his parkinsons disease.

That movie was medicore mainstream at its best. It _may_ deserve an Academy Award for best Special effects but thats it.

I think you're confusing mainstream with creativity gone wrong. I'll admit the movie did a different creative take on monster flicks but in still stands as being a notch above sub-par for me.

The only way this will win an oscar is like someone above mentioned, for special effects or something of that sort.

Boring, and the WORST ending i have ever seen. I mean, the rest of the film was ok/not bad, but that ending made me cringe so much. Eww.

i liked the atmosphere of the movie... reminded me of 28 days/weeks later (from the deepness of atmosphere which i rly liked). but i agree the ending wasnt my cup of tea + the shaky camera might be bad aswell for some peepz

I head some people got sick or had headaches after watching the movie!
Found it to be entertaining, but not really a masterpiece.

i liked it of course this one is 800% better than Gozilla... to bad it didn't show the end what happened on the "hammerdown" other parts are stupid but still nice movie... nice points on IMDB

Camerawork and effects is really good, but the story was not.......I actually fell asleep in the end.

The film was very good. Most of the people who have seen the movie didn`t know there are a lot of secrets and questions out of the movie like lost(cloverfield is mady by the maker of Lost).

I loved it, I blinked my eyes 2 times during the movie.

really enjoyed watching the movie, didnt though that the end will be so .. i dunno .. weird :|

I literally enjoyed this movie, tho my friends did not, ill give it 10/10 tho :)

it would be cool to see the monster more often...at least i would like that.
