Agree with you on that totally. Spoilers can seriously ruin the movie experience. Too bad some people dont give a **** about it:(

;o
haha you're evil.
just dont view the thread?
I can easily understand this sentiment. Let me explain why I don't do it:
I feel that conversation needs to flow freely, without too many distraction. I feel that big unrelated tags in capital letters distract you from the meaning of what said as well as being a visual distraction. I don't feel that such considerations should have to fill your mind, especially on forums.
When I discuss something in a forum, I expect to go in-depth with it. How can you really talk about a film without there being a mesh of details and your evaluation of the different aspects? I think these two go together, and it's not natural to set them apart in a conversation. So, effectively, everything I write about a movie would probably be a spoiler, and I don't want to write it differently as it takes away from my message. I feel a discussion which has this interruption is just in generel of lower quality.
Also, when discussing films, you have to be expecting people to talk about details of the film. Therefore, you can not expect people to break up normal patterns of conversation just in courtesy to you. Really, I'm sure seeing a few details about a move won't ruin your enjoyment of a movie either. Often, it will add to the excitement and expectation, and most good movies surprise you with the angle and timing of things, not the exact details. Therefore, with the momentum of watching the film, you are off pretty much the same. And personally, I cannot help but look when I see a big text saying spoilers - draws my attention for some reason :P
