i was asking that myself. they didn't win copa america and reached only the quarter final in the world cup. weird, but this rating has always been a joke.

admitedly Swedish team isn't what it used to be, but we still get results. Ibrahimovic is usually a important player, that's for sure. But in this EC qualifier he hasn't delievered. I would say Källström and Ljungberg(though he is injury-prone) are well above average, Elmander has shown over the last season and half he is a very good player as well.

they should rank the teams again every year or two imo, there are too many old results that have effect in this ranking . . . teams that were good 5 years ago might suck as now -_-

and yeah, England on 12th place... they shouldn't be in the top30 anymore, they have good individuals but their appearance in every tournament has been pretty lame these past few years.
Think it this way: if fnatic starts losing everything from now on, and still 10 years from now they're in the top10 counter-strike teams ? doesn't make sense =P

Finland has some decent players and performed well overall in the qualifier, and Portugal deserves a good ranking
after all they finished 2nd at the last EURO and 4th at the world cup last year
and 2 ties in a qualifier dont mean that much.... they still qualified, and Finland didnt
PS: id say you could compare Finland with Scotland in strength, and Scotland not only tied but beat France twice in the same qualifier (but still didnt qualify as well)
