Never had that problem myself, which is a lot worse than you think, if you're somewhat intelligent or ambitious and your parents aren't. I guess I feel as emo as I look now! :(((((((((((((((

aww dude, the worst is that you are feeling older and older when even your younger siblings know what they want and your parents want you to be something within economy and they don't want me to be something else, the most confusing thing is that first they wanted me to be a doctor, then engeneer something then something within media and now they've decided i should study economy.
Like my older brother wanted to be a pilot since he was 6 and now he is working for american airlines in New York. The job I want is to take over Donald Trump or Bill Gates! Sitting on my ass and just be rich by having people under me do the work! Or be like Queen Elisabeth! Like totally impossible, but hey, we all want to be rich and successfull and not dissapointing people close to us.

I wanted to be architect until I was a teenager and started using computers, wanted to do something computer related. Now I'm doing an English degree, and the first one in my family to go to university. There's the added pressure, 'why are you interested in academics or reading, why don't you just get a job?'

well, it's hard to get a job when you don't really have a bachelor (3 years) in the studies and in this country, master (2 years after bachelor) is everything when you are applying for a good job. I'm studying right now to get better grades and in between these times I need to apply for university and before April 15th. So I just think i'm gonna let destiny deside the rest of my life, apply for everything and the bachelor degree that accepts me is my path:P And it is public and doesn't cost me so much, so it's kind of better than a private school. But still it's easier to get acccepted in private schools because you pay alot of money.
