I m going to work/live in Poland and I wanted to know, what are the living costs there.
How much do I pay for a 1 room place/flat/appartment with furniture a month?
How much do you spend on food a week, month?
Is the transport expensive?
What is an average salary?

Living in Poland is a lot less expensive than in eastern europe and way cheaper than in eastern europe.

1 room place will cost u like 200-300€ a month.
food for 1 man for 1 month will be like 50-80€
if we're talking about transport its like 0.4€ for 1 KM for a taxi, bus tickets are like 3,5€ for 24hours ticket, or 23€ for 1 month.

cigarettes (marlboros) are like 2,5€
1 cheeseburger @ mcdonalds is 0.80€
vodka (0,5L) is 5€
gas(fuel pb95) is 1.1€ for a litre.

average salary in krakau will be like 800 euros

if youll be living alone youre going to save like 400 euros for month easily, in poland you can buy really much for such money.

everything depends on ur education. university = good salary, no education = you have to work really hard to get any money :) but well cracov is 3rd biggest polish city, with LOTS of places to go, you won't be bored for sure.

if you speak english well, you can work in a restaurant or something like that, client service related, it will give u decent money to live in poland, you don't need any education to do it.

internet is definitely one of most expensive in the world, but if you really mean cracov youll get 15 mbps for 17-20€ a month.

you won't find ANY good paid work for 1st week or two though, so dont get scared :)

1 cinema ticket is like 4-5€ at best cinemas
1 club ticket is 3-5€.

fitness is like 20-30€ a month with unlimited usage.

I just have a problem with gross salary, they do offer me 970 euros gross. But it will be like more less in net

If they really offer you 970€ a month youre a lucky guy, and even bother thinking, just move here, because prices of everything is ubercheap compared to ireland or sth like that.

No, im living in Warsaw, but all prices are absolutely comparable, maybe Warsaw is a bit (3-5%) more expensive.

I will first find out how much it will be in net, I think it will be something like 700 euro.
So than I will have to pay 300 euro for my accomodation, 350 for gas electricity water and internet
than I will have 350 euros over to live.

i think you will NEVER pay more than 500 euros for gas, water, electricity internet and accomodation for 1 man, seriously. and 1000 - 19% of TAX will give you like 800 euros i think with bonuses from your boss.
