New Esports Betting Website www.parimu.com
Hello everyone,
My name is Kevin "Uohz" Zhou and I would like to introduce myself to the SK forum community and tell you about a website my company is building at www.parimu.com for real money esports betting (Counter-Strike, Starcraft 2, Street Fighter 4, DotA 2, Heroes of Newerth, League of Legends, Halo, etc.).
Parimu will be offering floating odds bets and eventually fixed odds bets for all major gaming tournaments and leagues. To receive a notification when our Beta launches, please sign up at www.parimu.com. We take privacy and security very seriously and will not give your email out to any third parties. The only emails you will receive from us will be pertinent information about the upcoming Beta launch. Also, for this Beta launch, all bets will be commission free and users will have an open line to management for what features and improvements they would like to see. Parimu is not based in the US and as such is not be subject to US gambling laws. Whether or not you will be eligible to bet with Parimu depends on the laws and regulations of your particular country, state, or city. Money can be deposited to and withdrawn from Parimu through bank wires, Dwolla, Liberty Reserve, and various other money intermediaries. As for which particular intermediaries we will be using, we are looking into that right now and are also open to suggestions. Bet limits and bet monitoring will be instituted to prevent collusion and other betting scandals.
As for myself personally, I was a former pro DotA player (2006-2007), having played for teams such as Check Six and Pandemic and winning a few small tournaments. I am also responsible for co-founding the first inhouse league for DotA on USWest (second inhouse league overall) during that time (TDT/GDG/DXD). Many DotA players from the IGS, CAL, IHL, TDT, DXD, IHCS days might remember me. Although I don't play Starcraft 2, I did play a few thousand games of Brood War back in the day and I really loved it. I've also played a few thousand games each of Perfect Dark, Smash Bros 1-3, Halo 1-3, Warcraft 3, Street Fighter 4, Magic the Gathering for that matter. As you can tell I used to be quite an "avid" gamer. Even as I got older, my reflexes started slowing down, and I stopped gaming, gaming has held and will always hold a special spot in my heart and mind. I'm glad to see that esports have grown so much over the past years and I hope Parimu's professional bookmaking service can help esports grow even more.
