From now on it won't be too bad I don't think. Each season is only gonna be like 14 episodes long, but there won't be any breaks in them. There's three more seasons left, each starting in February for the next three years (I think).

the show is ending in 2010 because they want to reduce this episodes which are not relevant for the story itself. now they know that they have xx episodes left and can build a nice story for the episodes left.

They always said they exactly know where they are going with the story. Of course the way they get there changes slightly at times and they come up with new sub stories but the general plot has been known since the start.

If they know what they want for the ending, they can just script around sub-plots and the like that are not that necessary fairly easily.

The total package I would say :)

You could argue for hours about what the real main story is. For some people it could be, why did they crash? others might say will they get off the island? some might ask how where the island came from? etc etc etc So I would say the total story interests me, smaller things like who is the father of the baby etc are interesting as well but not really the main story, although the writers might have a surprise for us in that department

Everything. But if they change it now, we're not gonna know what we missed out on, so why bother crying about it?

It's not like they're gonna remove half of the story, we're still gonna get a few padded out seasons, with sub-plots galore, just like the first few seasons.

ok. all i wanted to say is that to keep the audience focused is to keep a certain pace in developing the story and if you don´t know when it will end, it is hard to end it in a good way if you have to (coz of decrease of viewer ie.) look at the oc :) the final was crap
