I've got an 360 and it's pretty good :D One of my housemates is gonna be buying a PS3 in January, im not that excited about it, but it should be good!

U should look at the games.
The consoles are both good, PS3 has better graphic power.

And look at the games which are coming in the future.
Couse that is what mathers.

For me Playstation always had the better games so there would be no sense buying a XBox360 or any other console (even if they have better graphic etc)

Running xbx360, love it. From what ive heard the Graphics are actually the same. Could always argue the Blue-ray from Ps3 but i wouldnt say that would make up for the price, witch i find WAAAY to high for a console.

Yeah PS3 price is way to high. I would never pay that.
I am gonne get a PSP, couse then i can download the games for free or buy them for 12 Euros :)

PS3 you pay so much for the console and then 40-80 Euro for the games...
and you cant download/copy them

Smileey, I've already got a PSP and I'm not that happy with it. I only use it to watch movies or listen to music when I'm on the road.

Also, thanks everyone but I've decided to go with an X360:
- Cheaper (both console & games)
- A lot of friends are using the Live! function
- More positive feedback from some known players

Whats wrong with the PSP? I never played on it but i wanne try it and if its good, buy one. Its cheap and the games are also cheap + you can download them and play via isos etc.

Don't get me wrong, the PSP isn't bad at all, it's the games I dislike. Also IF you're getting a PSP, make sure you also get something to downgrade it ;-).

I would say you have to test both consoles!
It depends on your personal like and dislikes. I prefer the PS3, because of the better games.

PS3 has got all the cool games listed available or pre-production so there's a lot to do for them.
However, the games are more related to violence and shit on the PS3 like shoot'em up and RPGs. My personal favourites so I ought to say that the PS3 is the better choice.

Of course, the Xbox360 has got games like HALO3 and GEARS OF WAR which are both very bloody and action filled games, but the majority of games for Xbox are related to sports in one way or another such as racing and snowboarding. Not all, but the most.

Just kidding, personally I think the 360 is better than the PS3 but I havn't tried a PS3 only 360 so I cant say for sure - Wii > all imo :p it may not have the best gfx but it brings something that none of the others can and its a lot of fun

I'm not sure which is more fun but the hardware in the ps3 is 3 times better than most people's computers. It's basically a computer, also the 360 has my fault's in over-heating and in the "Ring of death" as they say. So i would have to go with ps3 althought being a former xbox man :(

Because pS3 now is expensive, and there are few Game CDs.

It's very nice. The singleplayer is easy to complete, and multiplayer is cool.
