i have 1 of the old 60gb models
the fans are going on and its gettin pretty loud and a hassle.
the fans come on after 5 mins, and if playing games gets slowly louder and louder, even if its idle on the home menu, wen i 1st got it, it was so quiet i cud barely hear it, now its just a pain in the ass and annoying for watching blu-rays as its loud

recently (past few hours) its frozen on me twice. both times i checked the back and side vents and its been warm but not boiling.
its not in an enclosed area and my room is cold

wat shud i do? i bought it in 2007 so 1 year warranty is over (i presume) can i fix it or shud i ring sony and ask for a refurb to replace it? (i think you can do that)

i had a 360 an sold it for ps3
they replaced it with a new 1 anyway but thanks for the help ^^
