low resolutions look crappy with a TFT. But the oldschool players are used to play with those resolutions, so it's just what you're used to. stick with it :)

On low res your crosshair is smaller and the models of ppl are bigger so it's a bit easier and more comfortable to play on it

I use low resolution because of the recoil is smaller. CRT > TFT allways, not even pro's are playing TFT unless they are forced to do it :)

Well, i tried both 800 and 64hltv.gotfrag.com:3100, decided to stick with 800 cause its more ployvalent "meaning you can see better from far even if for close encounters 640 would be better)

i dont think there is something special ... cuz ex-player of SK - SNAJDAN played at 1024x768 but SpawN plays at 640x480 and both are the best ....

j use 800 dont ask why guess im old-school :).Its easer to me,bigger head for shotting. J tried 640 but its not on my whole screen and j hate when that happens black a round the game yah.so its 800x600 for sure!!!

no no no no and NO !!
GAMERS are using low resolution like 640*480 or 800*600 because they are less pixel than in 1024*800 or 1280*1024 ...
So when you shoot 1 pixel next the head in low res you'll HEADSHOT !! and in a high res if you shoot in 1 pixel next the head , you'll MISS !!
It's not exactly that , but i the idea !

If you played CS from the beginning time ( beta cs ). The maximum resolution you can choose is 640x480. There were many lower resolution like 400x300, 320x240 v.v.. lolz =DDD

so they get used to play with this resolution for many years and they dont wanna change. But there are some players change to higher resolution just because they love it =D
