Minimal recoil :)
Know i have played for very long time, i have watched a lot of movies and played a lot of clan matches. I have thought about this for a very long time, and now i will ask you, i dont exspect to get a conclusion out of this, but anyways, i have watched those movies, and it seems like the players in the movies got like minimal recoil nearly none, all the shots is inside crosshair even with the AK-47, things i know that means something for this is the config and server.. ofcauce the pros also got skills, but that do not remove my look at their recoil, do not seem like they move their mouse.
My question to you is, do you got some way to tweak your computer for best cs?
You know any legal config commands which can change it?
Do you feel the same, or am i just a newb :)?
And a little off topic, can someone link a nice server config? xD
Thank you for reading, please reply the questions, or just write i am just another newb if you feel that :)

It's all about cpu power. Better cpu\video - better cs : my buddy with latest coreduo and 512 videoram now thinks he's megapro - ruling newb mixes by simply killing everything with spray in a couple of secs maximum @ any distance - as if he's playing quake. And he shouts out "noobs" @ everyone when he sees their in-eye movements after his 'accidental' (c) deaths. The real skill nowadays shows only @ non-BYOC lans - u can compare many pro's recoil difference from their online perfomances with LAN ones.

@saigonov
yeah he still have got 100 fps but i mean if he had more fps if he type "timerefresh" in console
there he has with anti aliasing and anisotrope on 1000 fps and if he switch off he has
1500. I dont know if you get 500 fps more but it changes the recoil he can test it is an idea not more.

from my experience, FPS plays a huge deal in the recoil effect. I used to play cs on a AMD Athlon 650mhz + Geforce TNT2. This gave me about 60-75 fps, with drops to 30. I remember when I bursted, the crosshair went open and verry slowly closed. When i got my new pc XP 2200+ Geforce 4 Ti 4200 (100fps), it seemed as if I got less recoil and the crosshair closed a LOT faster, making it easier to burst and aim for headshots!

Well, here is the point, the videos/demos you are seeing dont show the REAL thing thats happening! in videos we can see the bullets going inside of the xhair, but its not all for real.
all the pros have the same aim like me and you! it doest change anything(not to much =/)
just get 100 fps and train a lot to get minimum recoil.

@Smoke2k
i think you mistunderdstood erig_ I think what meant is that, when you watch a DEMO on your shitty pc, you still will have low fps because it is played on your own PC. You should really record a movie from a pro's pc to see how he sees the game. Or just stand behind him when he plays :p

Actually, there are things by what you can make the recoil less, its called your mouse settings. If im not mistaken then SK-insider faq had some variations of the settings that you could use, for example logitech mouse ones and etc. Just try some settings out, try to add -noforce settings, cpl mouse fix, try to play with mouse Hz and so on, find the best configuration that feels the best for you =) Hope this helps ... ah, one thing more for example turn the mouse pointer speed lower or higher and change your in-game sensitivity, just try it out =P GL finding the right settings!
