The two mouses are very simular in shape and size because razer new that the ms 3.0 was a big success but didnt have the gaming dpi that some people wanted. So basically it's a ms 3.0 with the gaming dpi that some players want. Other than that it's all at preferance buddy, there is no right or wrong answer. If you have two pal's who have both then try them out see what you prefer, as i said before apart from dpi their really isnt alot of difference in them as they look,feel, and have simular shape. As for mat's the S&S is designed to give players a quicker edge and this is the reason it's plastic and much smaller then the Qck. The Qck is a cloth pad that is very big designed for people who mainly use their wrist's to aim and move their mouse very wide to aim. As again it's all preferance, if you like to have alot of space and mainly use your rist go with the Qck but otherwise S&S. Hope this helps buddy. Rember there is no right or wrong answer so when someone says ...is the best, what they really mean is it's best for them. :D
