in my opinion, its purely based on practice.

i don't honestly know what i exactly do. i've been playing for so long that its just natural for me to pull the exact way to be able to control the recoil almost perfectly when needed.

In m4a1's case, you should pull the mouse down... right, left, right. That's roughly sad of course.

just practice on a wall then in dm and so on

Yep just practise it buddy. When spraying try not to aim high as the recoil will take it way over. Try aim low waste. As walle said, just get a feeling for it :D

Just imagine you are fighting a war, and how are you going to react !! .
You dont spray at far range which means that at near range you just shoot "naturally".

Still comparing cs and real war... Makes me laugh.

By the way you mainly need to feel the bullets, more important with m4 than ak which get a random but pretty logical recoil.

practice practice practice ... start new game chose a map and shoot in the wall, till you dont get the best feeling, but do that everyday...if you do that you will have a good spray, but do it everyday

Just pull down the large/med crosshair while spray and reg zone will be approximately at lower pixel of upper line of your crosshair on m4 and at higher pixel on ak.

DON'T look @ bullets or decals on walls from them if you playing with cl_lw 1 (as everybody, because cl_lw 0 is restricted). Just DON'T. It's fake.

Just try to practice with holding reg zone on enemy's head/chest and you will see that I'm right.

And remember that you need to pull down crosshair only after first 4-6 bullets, they're going approximately in the middle of crosshair, so don't worry - there will be a lot of luck headshots from that first shots :)

I would say, firstly, you must have your color settings balanced. Not so bright, so you can see where the bullets are going to.
And then practice, and see how the weapon reacts. Soon you'll be better.
