I bought a new computer (Graphic card: nvidia 8600gt 256mb, 2GB DDR2 RAM, AMD Athlon 5000+ 2x ....) The new one is 3 times better then old one.
But on old computer my fps was about 100, and on this new computer my fps is 59,60.

Download that and it gives you the option of turning off vsync, may be something up with your drivers stopping it from turning off.

u have somethink with v-sync, must be turned off, or try lower resolution :)

Try downloading the newest drivers for your g. card

I have the same problem....When I download newest gr. drivers.....my mouse doesn't work as it works with older drivers...

and I have 100 fps...with the newest drivers

DUde... DOnt make the Vsync to force oFF... make it to ALWAYS OFF ... then youll got some 100 FPS for sure !

change the drivers, and reset your gfx card. Then turn off vsync again, restart your computer and it should work?

I just upgraded my gfx card from the 8600GT to 8800GT xD I had this same problem too. All I had to do was turn vsync off permanently (as in never turned it back on again), restart CS and use the 1024xsomething resolution.

Some new g.cards play better with higher graphic setting.
