Did you know that it's possiblle to write in colours in Counter Strike ?

some special caracters :






Don't see them ? This just means that SK website doesn't allow them. I'll put a .txt file where you should see them at the end of this message.

For the moment, let's say there are 3 special caracters that allows you to put colours in your messages.

The first one sets the colour to default, i.e the colour that everyone has when they says. We'll call it "car1".
The second one sets the colour to blue / red / grey (depends on if you're terrorist, counter-terrorist or spectator), let's call it "car2"
The last one sets the colour to green. Why green ? I don't know. Let's call it "car3".
We now have car1, car2 and car3.

Now, the most important part. HOW THE HELL DO I PUT COLOURS IN MY MESSAGES ?

Bind. Simply.

Let's say you wanna say "HELLO" in blue/red/grey one letter on two and the others letters in green.

You copy (right click > copy) the caracter of your color and put it like it :

bind "key" "say %car2Hcar3Ecar2Lcar3Lcar2Lcar3O"

Not that difficult, eh ?
Don't write "car2", COPY THE CARACTER THAT CORRESPONDS TO CAR2.
You just have to put the caracter of the colour you want IN FRONT of the letter/word you want to be colored.

If the word you wanna colour is in the middle of a "normal colored" sentence, you don't need to put the "%" in front of the sentence. ONLY PUT A % WHEN THE SENTENCE BEGINS WITH A COLOUR.

Also, you should know that when you're alive, you can only "say_team". When you're dead you can do both say and say_team. Why ? I don't know either.

Now, you have the keys, just don't flood DM servers, it's boring :D

So since SK seems to allow them, a bind should be like this :

bind "key" "say %HELLO"

What's wrong with you ? You guys are always embittered, condescending... If this doesn't interest you, just GO AWAY and eat some pumpkin.
You can't just call this or that a lame thread when you just don't even participate yourself by writing one. I just offer one interesting tip to add some colors in a world of war (ok I gone to far there).
It's not a big deal, we're OK, but it's not like "hmhm I'm over you YOU'RE LAME AND YOUR THREAD IS LAME AND I'M THE BEST AND STOP POLLUTING MY SK §".

Stop being such a defender of SK, it's already contaminated.
