MS 3.0 Black(optical)
Does anyone know if this mouse is good? I have a razer diamondback right now, but it started acting up recently. What's the difference between this and the original?
Also I heard that the scroll wheel makes a louder-than-normal noise, is this true?
Basically if anyone owns this mouse, plz tell me what are the pros and cons.
Thanks in advance

I have black but I do not know is it same as that. Yes, scroll is little louder than on other mouses but I am very pleased with mouse. i suggest you to buy it.
Scroll is loudish, side buttons are a bit loose. Other than that, it's great, great shape, doesnt skip, just a great mouse, never had any problems with it.
Some people say me that the mouse MS 3.0 is nice
But I never test it

Is there a difference in DPI? I coulnd't find any information online regarding the DPI
dpi of intelli is poor 400 :D
but it has 9000 fps
and diamondback has 1600 dpi,but inteli is better ;)

dpi has no effect on mouse performance
but the bigger the dpi,the laser is better quality
No, bigger DPI bigger mouse speed.
i do not think anyone want 3200 DPI :S

The original isn't sold anymore, correct? Then the Buy button at the bottom of the page is just for the black one?

Got an intelli 3.0 (silver/black) now and it's definitly the best mouse I've played with yet (compared to my old razer Copperhead and an razer diamondback+an Logitech Mouse my friends have plus several old mouses not beeing worth to be mentioned)
It is very comfortable to use, moves nicely and as precisely as a mouse can be and got good buttons although the side buttons are a bit loose (not that much that it is really disturbing but they are) and I don't like the placement of the wheel but I think that this depends on your hands.
I also like the mouse driver much more since its just an advanced windows mouse menu instead of a stand alone driver such as most other mouses have.
The difference in dpi makes no difference in gaming exept that I now play with an higher sens (3) then before and my windows sens is higher now ^^
The only weakness is the look but it's still ok.
-> If you use it you will know very soon why most pro gamers are using it. And it's way cheaper than all those advertised gaming mouses.
