I changed the way it works. So you are always mutual friends now, and also cleared it because alot of users abused the way they got friends.

Only once now, but might change that if ppl want it.

I think, if you were to deny someone friends invite, maybe there could be a checkbox that asked "block this user from asking again." Still would need a way to remove people from the "block invite" list.

bds, why not importing all mutual friends then? :) (if under a certain quantity mb...)

For a couple of other reasons, it is bad in a way yeah, but doesnt that long to get them back.

and because a lot of people changed their nicks, so it's impossible to restore friends without the database to crash, or to produce invalid results

Well, while fixed you can simply ignore it.

It´s a good choice, cause I was tired of the "make me your friend even if you don´t want" links of the last version.

Anyway now I don´t remember a couple of nick names that I used to have like friends... but I will find them anyway... so, it´s ok for me :)

New system is better. On old sk site many people was posting links to add them as a friend and you even did not know it.

I really hope that database gets recovered. I can't remember my entire buddy list and don't feel like requesting everyone again while trying to recreate it.

You should have warn us before shutting it down so we would have been able to save our friend list :p
