Before , I had Windows Vista and in counter strike I could set resolutions 1024 x 768 , 800 x 600 and 640 x 480 (which was available) in normal mode and the image was all over the whole display .Now I have windows 7. I can only set " Widescreen " mode if i want to have the image over the whole display , if I set "Normal" mode and take the resolution 1024 x 768 the edges are cut off , and that began to happening since I have Windows 7 installed.I have a laptop , display resolution is 1366 x 768 ( I know it's widescreen resolution , but how could i have it on Vista before , altough the widescreen resolution I had a "Normal" resolution). Anyone help please !!!

1024 x 768 x the best is highest for the game details

but you can play and 800x600 (so they say are more pro)

If I set the 800 x 600 resolution , the left and right edge are gonna be cut off ? Thats the whole problem , how can I set the resolution without being edge cut off ?

u can use the resolution like 300x200
