120hz does make the game run smoother, more easy to control recoil etc,..

Isnt a 17" CRTthe best otpion for cs1.6? Dont all the pro's use this?

You can adjust your monitor size just by pushing the button in the monitor. It can run 17", 19", 19" WS, 22", 24" and Aspect ratio. Colors are made for 1.6, they are pre set by SpawN and HeatoN.
