I'm pretending to buy SS1 or SS2, but I dont wanna spend much money. Both of them are good. Whats are the differences between them (i know: the v1 doesnt have the mic)?

And does the Steelseries usb sound card works for v1?

v2 have a soundcard usb , 7.1 channels and mic i think the card works with both , but go to www.steelseries.com and read the review of both headsets

The mic is the only difference.

No matter which headsets you are gonna buy dont think that you are gonna hear steps from the other part of the map. There is no difference between Siberia v1, v2, 5Hv2 or any other model.

Well, yeah it depends what soundcard you are using but the headsets you gave me link for are fine. There is no point of spending that much money for overpriced staff.
