Problem with fps ! HELP
Hello guys!
My PC is almost 4 years old and it's a real piece of shit, that's why I only play Counter Strike 1.6 on it. My performance is low, but i know, i should get FPS constant 99.9 -100 in such an old game. I love this game, and I play it a lot, online cups etc. ..
But there is a problem, I get constant FPS 99.9 only when I'm alone or with 1-3 other players, even in smoke, but when I see more than 4 players I experience FPS drops. It even drops below 60 FPS . So, is there anything that can help me, without decreasing in game settings or buying a new GPU !
In game settings:
Resolution- 800x 600
Color Quality- 32 bits
Renderer- Open GL
Display Mode- Normal
Gamma, Brightness - Highest
My spec's:
OS - Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit, SP 2
CPU - Dual Core E2160, 1.8GHz
GPU- Asus GeForce 8400GS, 256Mb [ OVERCLOCKED]
Core Clock - 720 MHz
Shader Clock - 1800 MHz
Memory Clock - 459 MHz
[ GeForce 275.50 Driver BETA 3D settings:
Ambient Occlusion - Off
Anisotropic filtering- Off
Antialiasing Gamma correction- Off
Antialiasing Transparency- Multisampling
Cuda GPUs- All
Maximum pre-rendered frames- 8
Multi- display/ mixed- GPU acceleration- Singe display performance mode
Textures filtering- Anistropic sample optimization- On
Texture filtering- Negative LOD bias - Allow
Texture filtering- Quality - High performance
Texture filtering- Trilinear optimization- On
Tgred optimization - Auto
Triple bufferning- Off
Vertical sync- Force off ]
PSU - 400W
Monitor - LG L192WS [ 19" LCD], 60 Hertz , 32 bits

Have you tried the latest driver?
Windows Vista is bad, install XP.
turn this off :
Textures filtering- Anistropic sample optimization- On
Texture filtering- Trilinear optimization- On
and install win XP :)

why to use anisotropic sample ON, when u have it disabled, and tirlinear optimization is to use bilinear in some areas, so not USEFULL :s
better performance with a minimal loss in image guality
install xp
the problem is the cpu
