How to get screen like this?

http://www.sk-gaming.com/photo/254704

I can get my normal screen to that but game resolution still scales?

I got 10.12 drivers from ATi, and i even got the scaling fix program from a 3rd party, since atm the drivers are bugged at that part.

I am wondering the same thing as well, ever since I started using my widescreen monitor about 2 years ago I cannot play CS 1.6 because my mouse acts differently, and I'm hoping putting my screen settings like this will help, anyone know how to set this? It would be much appreciated.

Search for something like "fixed aspect ratio" in your drivers. And btw, not every monitors supports different acpect ratios than the native one.

Btw, which monitors do you got, guys? I'll do a research, if your monitors are capable of different aspect ratios then.

I have a Vizio VX20L (More of an HDTV than a Monitor, but it has a VGA plug-in so I thought, ehh why not use this lol)

From this I'd say it should work. Check your TV's menu for "aspect ratio" or something could mean the same. I cannot remember of my old Samsung 940BF LCD, if you can set different ratios in the NVIDIA control panel, if the monitor is plugged via D-sub.

couldn't find anything, it had H and V position (horizontal and Vertical) I was hoping it would be a game setting though, not something with my monitor. Or possibly something with the settings on the video card.

To your first post, I did, its called maintain aspect ratio, i use a 3rd party program to get it done, cause the ATI drivers atm are bugged to do that.

My monitor is BenQ 24" G2420HDB

And there are no "scaling options" where you can set "fill to aspect ratio" or so?

Dont think so..

Hm... my monitor has that option in the properties ... never needed any sort of 3d party stuff

Mine as well (HP ZR24w) o.O

Where in properties?
