Hi. I've got my account stoled at 23.10h ( Portugal time ). I've done a Steam update, then, like always, I've restarted the application. After introducing my account details, it said "Login to Steam failed. Either the specified does not exist, or the password was wrong. Please check your account name and password and try again".
I don't know if it is a bug or if someone has hijacked mine account.
After this I received an email from "support@steampowered.com", saying this:

Hi,All you can do is contact steam support either give them the cd key you entered on your steam account or idk...

and BTW i think i did not get any update...

It says right in that email if you didn't change your password, go to that link, which will probably reset or mail you a new password.

But, I didn't received a second email.

I just got one email.

The problem is, valve says that my account doesn't exist.

Oh ***, I was with a friend Steam account, and the same happened. Now I cant Log on his account. Im being hacked. (Now the steam just turned off, no updates).

É na boa para recuperar a conta,desde que tenhas o papel da CD Key...
Eu sei recuperar,mas não tenho muito tempo para te ajudar...até porque não é uma cena "complexa"...
Se fores ao google de certeza que encontras algum tutorial de como recuperar a conta...e tutoriais sobre isso é coisa que não falta...porque ao longo dos anos,isso que te aconteceu a ti aconteceu a muitos...dai os imensos tutoriais.....
E se te roubaram...que é o caso,poderá ter sido por vírus;ou de outra maneira qualquer....ou por vezes poderá ser na LAN(depende da LAN),isto porque há LAN's em que tu tens que ter steam para jogar e outras não...e por vezes há pessoal que aproveita isso para roubar contas....é por isso que há que ter cuidado;eu pessoalmente nunca me roubaram a conta,mas já chegaram a roubar de amigos e familiares meus...e eu consegui recuperar....agora é o seguinte...eu já não jogo CS desde final de 2008...portanto poderei andar desactualizado..e isso de recuperar a conta já não estar "operacional"!
Portanto é uma questão de te informares...mas se a tal cena ainda estiver "operacional",recuperas a conta em dias...isto se tiveres o papel da CD Key...e claro reza para a conta não ficar banida ou algo do género...porque aí...já era!

Hey guys, I've contacted Steam Support, and after one day and half they answered to me.
"It appears as though the account may have been hijacked by another user" they said. Now I have my account back.
